RIW Heviseal is a cold applied bituminous coating, which contains fibres and minerals to achieve a high degree of UV resistance. RIW Heviseal is suitable for application onto existing mastic asphalt & roofing felts, together with gutter areas, for periodic maintenance.
The life expectancy of RIW Heviseal may be greatly improved with the application of RIW Solaflect.
RIW Solaflect is a solar reflective coating for mastic asphalt, bituminous waterproofing systems and roofing felts. As a high performance solar reflective coating, RIW Solaflect will reduce thermal movement and associated stresses on a roof, leading to prolonged life expectancy of the roof. RIW Solaflect complies with the requirements of BS 8218; 1998, and is the only solar reflective paint, approved for use by the Mastic Asphalt Council (MAC).
RIW do not manufacture or distribute specialist waterproofing systems for roof structures where an exposed membrane is required. |
