RIW Simplifies the Specification
Process
By:- Martin Radford, National
Sales & Marketing Manager The
new RIW literature is now complete
and has been designed to be interactive and reflect
the specification process.
Architects understand the importance of and regularly
seek advice concerning structural waterproofing, therefore
any assistance that simplifies the process of building
a waterproofing strategy is well received. Complex waterproofing
problems can be solved by following three simple steps
in the new specification guide or product selector.
Once the right product has been identified we provide
standard and site specific drawings and specification
clauses that can be dropped in to the Architects drawing
package and project specification. Our contact details
are also emblazoned throughout the literature to encourage
Architects and Engineers to contact us as often as possible.
The cost of literature production, postage and packaging
has been factored in to this review. Therefore, in addition
to the printed literature we have produced a number
of standard templates which allow us to produce our
own in-house supportive documents such as case studies,
project reference lists, fact files and technical guidance
notes.
Also, the new product selector has been designed to
be a stand alone document that can be sent out to end
users, small contractors and one off users where normally
a full binder would have been posted.
We believe this literature is unique, provides us with
greater flexibility and should allow us to satisfy more
customers.
