Working in
Partnership
By:- Martin Radford, National
Sales & Marketing Manager
The Working
in Partnership Policy will become an important element
of the RIW Strategy in 2004.
Developing closer links with suppliers,
specialist contractors and other manufacturers will
result mutually beneficial relationships that will ultimately
improve RIW products and customers service.
Cast Contracting Limited (CCL) have
had a long association with RIW Ltd.
This has proven very useful in the development of the
RIW Tilesafe system.
CCL’s practical experience and
research into the peripheral elements of the RIW Tilesafe
system, such as drainage outlets, have enhanced the
attractiveness of the RIW Tilesafe
to potential specifiers and developers.
RIW Technical Advisors
had the opportunity to put theory in to practice at
a joint RIW/CCL training session in
November. Cast Contracting Limited, an RIW
recommended specialist waterproofing contractor, kindly
allowed RIW to use their facilities
in Hook, Hampshire to present an RIW
Tilesafe product seminar and arranged a practical demonstration
on how to install the RIW Tilesafe
system. There’s no substitute for getting your
hands dirty when trying to fully understand how a waterproofing
system really works. Our new Technical Advisors, Adam
Jervis will appreciate this more than most when he spends
a number of days on-site with CCL, as part of his induction
training.
The training day forms part of a program
of continual development in-house events, which reinforce
our commitment to providing the best possible service
to our customers.
